Admission to IIIT Kalyani is enabled through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) only for the undergraduate programme.

IIIT Kalyani's B.Tech. programme admits 130 students for only one of its discipline, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Seats are filled up through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) after qualifying JEE (Main) examination administered by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Revised Schedule of Events of JoSAA 2018 – Round 3 onwards

Please bring the following documents as outlined in JoSAA website for reporting and admission :-

( If any of the documents are found invalid or wrong, the allotted seat is liable to be cancelled )

1. Document Verification-cum-Seat Acceptance Letter issued by the Reporting Centre.

2. Printout of Provisional Seat Allocation Letter.

3. (i) Proof of initial fee (Rs. 35,000 for General, Rs. 15,000 for SC/ST/PWD) payment.

   (ii) Proof of Special round participation fee (applicable for special rounds only).

4.  Original documents for verification (submit self-attested photocopies):

    i) Aadhaar Card
   ii) Admit Card of JEE (Main) - 2018
   iii) Score Card of JEE (Main) -2018 issued by CBSE (downloaded score card is acceptable)
   iv) Class X (High School) Board Certificate
   v) Class XII or equivalent examination Certificate and Marks sheet
  vi) Certificate of category of SC/ST (Central list), if applicable, issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format (as given in josaa.nic.in).
  vii) Certificate of category of OBC (Central list), if applicable, issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format (as given in josaa.nic.in). The certificate should clearly mention that the candidate belongs    to Non Creamy Layer (NCL). The certificate should have been issued on or after 1st April, 2018. Non Creamy Layer OBC Certificate issued prior to 1st April 2018 shall not be accepted in any case.
  viii) Certificate for person with Disabilities (PWD), if applicable.  The Certificate should be issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner. The Certificate will be rejected if the disability is less than 40%.

5. Copy of Medical Certificate (Annexure 8 of JoSAA Business Rules).

6. Three passport size photographs identical to the one pasted on the JEE (Main) - 2018 application form.

 

Financial Aid
The Institute provides information to its students for obtaining scholarships under the scheme of Central and State Governments.
Since State Government and Central Government agencies have a large number of scheme to provide scholarship to students, the admission office will help the students to apply for such opportunities.

    • The eligibility criteria for the students are:
      Student should be domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
      Student must secure 75% or more(in case of M.P. Board) and 85% or more (in case of CBSE/ICSE).
      Total income should be less than 6 Lacs.

  • PARTIAL Freeship (Scholarship) scheme by the Government of West Bengal:
  • Ten (10) students get partial freeship from Government of West Bengal. Eight (8) partial freeships are for students of West Bengal and two (2) partial freeships for students of other states. Please contact IIIT Kalyani office for details
