Vacant Seats Filling
After admissions based on seat allotment by JOSAA and CSAB, a few seats may fall vacant due to various reasons. To fill these seats, IIIT Kalyani is planning to conduct a spot round.

1. List of Vacant seats will be published on 11th August 2018.
2. Application, complete in all respects, will be accepted on 13th August 2018, in Room 107, if submitting in person or can be sent to admission@iiitkalyani.ac.in from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm only.

Eligibility: Students with a valid JEE Main rank and 75% (for General and OBC-NCL) / 65% (for SC, ST, PwD) marks in Class XII or belong to the top 20 percentile of their board (as given on CSAB website) can apply for joining B.Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering) in IIIT Kalyani.

Application form is available on the institute’s Website under Admission Section. Interested candidates are expected to fill the application form in the prescribed form and attach photocopies/soft copies of the documents, S. No. 4 to 6, as listed in the form. Medical certificate needs to be submitted in original at the time of final admission.
Seat allotment will be done based on JEE Main rank after scrutiny of the submitted application along with all certificates and relevant documents and the results will be advertised on the institute’s webpage soon after.

Selected candidates are expected to pay all fees for the first semester – Rs. 1,01,320/- institute fees and Rs. 37,000/- hostel fees – only through the payment portal on the institute’s webpage to complete the admission process.
Any fees paid to JOSAA/CSAB 2018 will not be considered in this round. Candidates have to contact JOSAA/CSAB for any such refunds.

Institute reserves the right to fill all or any of the vacant seats. Institute’s decision regarding spot round admissions will be final in all cases.
