Three new Criminal Laws namely, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, which will replace the British era colonial laws. The Central Government has appointed 1st July, 2024 as the date on which the provisions of these new Criminal Laws shall come into force.

It is desired that all HEIs may carry out awareness campaigns using these flyers and organize workshops, seminars in hybrid mode for dissemination among students, staff and community outreach.
