The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, an Institute of National Importance established under the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Public-Private Partnership) Act, 2017, strictly adheres to the reservation policies of the Government of India in respect of admissions to its various academic programmes. IIIT Kalyani implements the reservation policy of the Government of India, as per the applicable norms, in recruitment to teaching and non-teaching positions.
Reservation is provided to eligible candidates belonging to various categories, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), in accordance with the applicable rules, notifications, orders, and instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.
